The PC versions
have slightly different gameplay, so I was called in to help script new characters and write some new training/tutorial dialogues. It was fun to write modern slang-infested military dialogue as a change from the HoMM V high fantasy prose. Thanks to Ubi and the guys at GRIN in Stockholm for bringing me in.

These games -- actually two versions of the same game -- are another title from the M&M brand at Ubi. Developed by Rafael's team at Arkane Studios and written by Richard Dansky -- lead writer for the Clancy games -- this turned out to be a real genre-bender; an FPS&S (swords & sorcery). Sadly, it shipped with a huge bug that never raised its ugly head in testing; we got whacked in the reviews because of that. In spite of this it still won a couple Game of the Year awards in Europe because yes, it was that much fun to play.

This game, from French developer Vector Cell, will be coming out exclusively on the PlayStation Network. It has touches of Ico, Silent Hill, and Half-Life, and I am more than happy to be working as a scriptwriter with Kurt Mcclung and alongside Mathieu Gaborit, the award-winning French author who is developed the world and the story (link is in French).
