- Brief history and motivations: Biara is a loose cannon looking for a target. Having managed to sneak her way into the rule of the Griffin Empire, she oscillates between happy/gloating and insecure/fearful. For someone with Biara's bloodlusts and rages, this creates the worst possible environment for those subject to her whims...
- Character arc during the game:
- Initial motivations: Please herself, consolidate her power over the Empire.
- Experiences: Tries to stamp out rebels (anger at their rebellion, fear that they may create a following), Andrei escapes (frustration = anger), hunts Andrei (bloodlust), gets a dressing-down from the Demon Sovereign (fear, devotion, stress), hunts Andrei and attacks Dwarves (turning anger into destructive urges), sows unrest and demon worship in the Dark Elves (seduction, gloating, spreading chaos), seduces Dwarves to follow her plans (contented at her success, scornful of the Dwarves), sacrifices Dwarven allies and Dark Elves while keeping control of the Empire (victory, gloating, power).
- Final motivations: Track down and destroy Freyda, Duncan, Wulfstan, Ylaya.

- Slippery, treacherous, paranoid
- Exceedingly hungry and ambitious, lustful and insatiable
