Pitches

During the early development phase of the game, I have often worked on "pitches" to help explain and sell the game design and story elements to management or investors.

A pitch is simply a brief document that lays out the game's key selling points, unique features, and basic story ideas.

Trailers

Another key part of marketing a game is the creation of the trailers.  These can either be "teaser" trailers, that present the feel of the game rather than the actual features, or they can be actual scenes from gameplay.

In any case, the trailer has to be developed to put the best possible light on the gameplay, graphics, characters, and story lines.  This involves a lot of iterative collaboration with the producers and the art/graphics team.

A few examples of the trailer development that I have done are on the left.

Fan /Community

Where would a game be without all the players and fans that love it?

When working on a large, new game world or on a multi-game brand, it is important to keep communications open with the fans and the game community.  For the Might & Magic brand I have done interviews and Q&A's, as well as writing additional world bible articles and content for the newsletters.  Some examples are below.
